About Scott
I am currently working in the Environmental field, as a scientist and Environmental Manager. My passion is conservation of natural resources and wildlife preservation protecting our environment. I am a student of life, enjoy keeping current with my discipline skills through continuing education credits. I've learned over time that failure is part of the process to become successful, we fall down but always get back up. This learned experience allows me to be super patient and understanding for others learning new material. I am very dedicated to the learning process and want to help others and inspire those needing additional support. I was one of those students and I want to share my knowledge with others who desire to seek help.

My teaching methods are open free flow discussion on the subject matter, relatability to the subject to allow connection with the material. This accommodates various learning styles. Followed by critical thinking performance evaluation for learned material. The individual must understand chapter 1 before starting chapter 2, for example.
My lesson plans include open discussion on the subject topic, followed with practice by doing, repetition is mastery. I am very patient in the learning process. I like the students to ask questions for their complete understanding. Video and visual aids support various learning styles.
My lessons are targeted for middle school and high school learners.
