About Katie
I am a recent graduate from the University of Leeds where I studied Biochemistry. I have also studied Biology, Maths and Chemistry up to A-Levels and Physics up to GCSE, so I know these subjects well. Teaching was a big part of my degree, as we used to discuss problems and try to explain the answers to each other. I also tutored my younger brother through his 11+ and GCSE exams.

I am offering maths and science tutoring for 11+ and GCSE pupils. I can style my lessons and teaching to suit my pupils, but would suggest that I try to find out gaps in their knowledge using practice questions and use this as a basis for topics I can run through with them. I would also be happy to help with homework or go through any specific things that the pupil is struggling with. I am good at explaining complex things in a way that is more understandable. I do this by drawing pictures and diagrams or trying to explain things in a different way.
