About Daphne
With an extensive and rigorous background in biology, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my teaching. Having completed the International Baccalaureate (IB), where I excelled in higher-level biology, I am well-versed in its structure and intensity, allowing me to guide students through challenging concepts with ease. I went on to earn a BSc in Biomedical Sciences, which provided me with a solid foundation in areas like human physiology, molecular biology, and genetics. My MSc in Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, and Business Management at the University of Warwick deepened my expertise, particularly in applying biological sciences to real-world innovations in biotech industries. Currently, I’m furthering my education at ISIPCA in the European Fragrance and Cosmetics Masters program, where I explore how biology integrates into cutting-edge cosmetic science. This deep, interdisciplinary exposure allows me to teach biology with a focus on both theoretical understanding and practical applications. I’m dedicated to helping students not just learn, but truly master the subject.

My approach to teaching biology is rooted in my strong academic background in Biomedical Sciences, and I aim to make complex concepts clear and engaging. I focus on breaking down difficult topics and using real-world examples to connect theory with practice. Lessons are typically an hour long, but I can adjust them based on the student's pace and learning needs. With my I bring both a deep understanding of biology and experience in applying it to fields like biotechnology and bioprocessing. My lessons are ideal for high school looking to deepen their understanding of biology, whether for academic advancement or personal interest. I have had tutoring experience with students of several ages, including a student with a learning difficulty. I can adapt the lessons to a pace that fits each student.
