During lessons, I like to take students through a challenging problems while keeping note of their emotions at every step. Often in math, it's not until a specific moment in time that all your confidence vanishes, and you're trying to use your muscle memory rather than your reasoning. After first identifying those gaps in understanding, I can help fill them with more detailed explanations of what is going on. I like helping students with homework, but have multiple different calculus textbooks at home and online, and will write problems.
