About Stephanie
I am a prekindergarten teacher with a master’s degree in Elementary Education. With years of experience in teaching elementary students inside and outside of the traditional classroom, I have a diverse background with much to offer. I want to be a facilitator for each child and give them the opportunity to feel part of something, to feel proud of their stories, backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs. My first classroom teaching experience was working at Concordia Language Villages, where I learned how to educate students to understand and appreciate cultural diversity. I served as a bilingual instructor, leader, and full-time counselor for six years, teaching about the Spanish language and Hispanic culture.
