About Sam
One thing I am extremely passionate about is helping other people get the grades they deserve! If they work hard, they will get that grade!
As a tutor, I find the method I follow works really well and allows students to walk away with a concise, 'non-overpowering' amount of knowledge of exactly what they need for the topics we discuss. Furthermore, it allows all students to learn and come out of the session feeling more confident than when they walked in! That's a promise!

The lessons are usually an hour, but I am very flexible. At GCSE, I got top grades for both maths and further maths. I mainly tutor the OCR exam board, but I am very happy to do others as well due to various crossovers. As a result, the lessons are focused on all ages up to and including 16 at GCSE level.
In terms of experience, I have tutored over 10 different students up to and including their GCSE or in-school exam period. Likewise, I also have experience tutoring for Camden Futures Institute!
The lessons are carried out online on a video call platform where I share screen a whiteboard to allow students to see what I'm writing and explaining to them clearly. The lessons typically start with a recap of the topic with any information they may need, before going straight into exam-style questions. The first time we walk through together, and then it's over to them!
I'll do the writing on the board, and they tell me everything to do! From here, we can see exactly what they have retained and need extra help with!
At the end of the lesson they can be sent the PDF of all the work and notes for whenever they need it.
