My approach is pretty simple. Motivate the student to build interest in any subject by presenting it in a manner compatible to his/her thought process. Once a sync is established, the next target is gradually improving the thought pro. I do not believe that there is a bad student. All it takes to create a bright student is infusing self confidence in him/her until they no longer need external help.
