About Jagmeet
Hello, Myself Jagmeet Kaur from India. I'm 22 years old pursuing a Master's degree in Math. I have experience of 4 years teaching math to school-going students and I even helped them in their competitive exams like Olympiad and they successfully achieved their goals. I believe that learning math can be a powerful tool to unlock confidence, problem-solving skills, and new opportunities. My Teaching Approach & Class Structure
As a math teacher, my goal is to make mathematics clear, relatable, and confidence-building for every student. I focus on understanding each student’s needs and tailor my lessons accordingly, whether they're struggling with the basics or aiming to master advanced concepts.
Teaching Techniques and Methods
I use a step-by-step approach, starting from what the student already knows and building up from there.
Interactive problem-solving to encourage active participation
Regular feedback to monitor progress and boost confidence
Patience and clarity are key in my teaching. I always encourage questions and make sure students feel comfortable expressing when they don't understand something.
Structure of a Typical Class
A usual session includes:
1. Quick recap of previous topics to reinforce memory
2. Introduction of a new concept, broken down into simple steps
3. Guided practice, solving examples together
4. Independent practice with support as needed
5. Review and clarification, addressing any lingering doubts
I may also provide home practice problems or short quizzes depending on the student's goals.
