About Mauricio
My musical journey began at a young age, in high school, when I joined the school’s rondalla group. From that moment, the guitar became my passion, and my curiosity led me to dive deeper into music. I first studied with private teachers and later pursued a degree in Guitar at the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza de Monterrey. My intensive training broadened my perspective on music, but it also taught me the importance of structured and effective learning.
Throughout my career, I have worked as a teacher in various music academies in my city, allowing me to test and compare different teaching methods. Over time, I realized that not all approaches work for every student. That’s why I set out to refine my own method—one that adapts to each person’s needs, regardless of age or skill level. Additionally, my studies in Psychology have given me a deep understanding of learning processes, allowing me to teach more effectively and tailor my approach to how each student learns best.
My teaching is not limited to children or young students; I have also worked with adults, especially those with busy schedules. For them, I designed a method that makes learning the guitar easy, maximizing every available minute without the need for endless daily practice. I have seen how even the busiest adults can progress quickly, enjoy the journey, and achieve real results.

Perfect! Excelente profesor, yo no estaba dispuesto a tomar clases en línea pero la verdad con él sí. La propuesta de cómo estructurar la clase es muy buena y las tareas muy acorde al nivel y divertidas. Lo que más me gustó fue que se toma el tiempo en conocer tus gustos para tomar un camino en lo que vas a ir aprendiendo.

Aprender guitarra con Mauricio ha sido una gran experiencia. Explica muy bien, tiene mucha paciencia y hace que todo sea más fácil y divertido. En poco tiempo, he mejorado bastante y cada clase me motiva más. Si quieres aprender a tocar de verdad, te lo recomiendo sin duda. ¡Vale mucho la pena!
Cuando le dije a Mau que quería aprender guitarra clásica, él me dijo que eso era cosa seria!!. Lo bueno es que caí con el mejor maestro. Gracias a Mau empecé a tocar con mucho mejor sonido, mayor fluidez y además súper divertido. Hola Mauricio es un maestro excelente, ya que se preocupa por como se encuentra el alumno antes de iniciar la clase, es un maestro muy paciente y siempre anima al alumno a aprender mas. Me gusta que se enfoca en el genero musical que al alumno le gusta.

Estoy muy contenta, por que mi hija aprendió y avanzo mucho en sus clases de guitarra.
Me gusta que antes de iniciara la clase checa que tipo de música le gusta al alumno y para así enfocarse mas en ese genero.

Muy paciente y dedicado con las clases, toca muy bien y da muy buenos tips para mejorar la técnica.El maestro Mauricio es muy bueno, toca todo tipo de género; en mi caso, estoy a prendiendo a tocar la bohemia y los boleros.
Su género predilecto es el rock.Excelente maestro y músico, lo he visto tocar en eventos y hace muy bien su trabajo, contrátenlo.
Mejor profe no pudieran tener tiene bases de los mejores trovadores, tiene también muy buenas bases de los mejores ídolos del rock como The Egde(U2), Alex (Rush), Steve Vai, Carlos Santana, Sergio Vallin(Maná), Roger Walters, entre muchos más si quieres desde aprender o hasta buscar una superestrella, este es el maestro indicado, saludos banda.

The advertised cost corresponds to the price per class when purchasing a 4-class package for a 4-week period. As you increase the number of classes within that period, the cost per class decreases.

• Individual lesson: $500
• Class Packages:
o 4 lessons → $1,330 (1 lesson per week)
o 8 lessons → $2,420 (2 lessons per week)
o 12 lessons → $3,520 (3 lessons per week)
Home Lessons (Subject to availability)
• Cost per lesson: $1,000
o Minimum of 4 lessons per month
o Variable cost depending on the distance
Package Details
• The student can choose a fixed schedule for their lessons, which will remain consistent throughout the package. Scheduled lessons cannot be rescheduled within that period.
• Each package is valid for 4 weeks.
• Special Discount:
o If you purchase 2 or more packages within the same period and make a one-time payment, you’ll get a 5% discount.
o Conditions:
Not applicable to the same person.
The second package must be for a family member or someone of your choice.
Both packages must be used within the same 4-week period.
