About Aleksander
I am a Biotechnology Student which means I study gene regulation and how the molecular world interacts with the genomic scope. I am pursuing research in gene regulation which is the process of how genes are turned on and off.
I have multiple years of experience tutoring college students in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, General Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biotechnology. I also have experience tutoring High School students with AP Biology, AP Chemistry, General Biology, general chemistry. Furthermore, I have tutored middle and elementary school students in biology starting from Kindergarten up!
I am from Los Angeles and love the city!!

For college students and high schoolers, my teaching style includes using visuals, wacky mnemonics, and real-life experiences to ensure the student has the fundamental knowledge of the topic. After I am sure the student understands the material, I have them lecture the material to me to master the science.
For Middle school and elementary students, my approach is geared more towards guidance and a majority of my material is converted into visuals. A majority of parents who have me tutor their younger children want me to teach the student more advanced material which I am happy to do.
My philosophy is to use useful examples and visuals to show the student why they are studying their specific topic. I always make sure the student has a fundamental understanding of the basics before moving on to the more advanced topics. Lessons with me are designed to be easy going and interactive. I want the material to be fun and entertaining!v
