About Janvi
I like to keep my lessons relaxed, friendly, and easy to understand. I know maths can sometimes feel confusing or stressful, so I focus on helping students feel comfortable and confident as they learn.
I break topics down into simple steps and explain things in a way that makes sense. I’m always happy to go over things again, and I encourage students to ask questions without worrying about getting anything wrong.
I’m a Biomedical Engineering graduate and currently studying an MSc in Computer Science & AI, so I have a strong background in maths and problem-solving.
I’m patient, supportive, and always come prepared. My aim is to help students improve at their own pace and feel more confident with each lesson.

I take a structured but flexible approach to tutoring, focusing on building both understanding and confidence. I start by identifying the student’s current level and any gaps in their knowledge, then tailor lessons to suit their pace and learning style. I break down concepts into simple steps, use examples, and regularly check understanding before moving forward.
A typical lesson is around 60 minutes. This usually includes a quick recap, learning a new concept, guided practice, and then independent questions to reinforce understanding. I also give small tasks or practice where helpful.
I’m a Biomedical Engineering graduate and currently completing an MSc in Computer Science & AI. While I’m early in my tutoring journey, I have strong analytical skills and experience explaining complex ideas clearly, which I apply in my teaching.
My lessons are aimed at KS2 and KS3 students, particularly those who want to strengthen their maths skills, build confidence, or need extra support outside school.
