About Heather
I am a qualified teacher, I my have honors in Educational Psych Support for over 20 years. I use critical Thinking, and I support learners with Reading Difficulties. I prefer teaching grade 2 to 6, all subjects. I am linked to a homeschooling company to tutor however, I also tutor Mathematics and Reading online for children who attend full time classes at their own schools. I use a Zoom platform. I tutored ten matrics for Afrikaans in 2014- 2015 and all of them passed Afrikaans-so they were all awarded a BED entrance into Varsity.

I teach taking individual needs taken into consideration. I have my honors in Psych support and I am able to teach learners in an inclusive classroom. Math is a language so is English and Afrikaans so all language is important.

Details
I do all my lessons on Zoom. My first lesson which is free, will be classed as an interview with a parent/guardian and the child concerned. A computer connection is far better than a phone as the child needs to be comfortable when reading. All my books are online and all tasks are online unless there is a specific need with schoolwork. Confidentiality is a key.
