I am a postgraduate student who has studied history for the last five years. I now specialise in aspects of Early
Modern History, incorporating the Reformation and Counter-Reformation as well as the English Civil Wars and Restoration. I have experience in 1:1 tuition as well as working to provide engaging lessons and activities for children and young people.

I work closely with student’s academic needs, responding to their questions and areas of difficulty. I break down complex historical concepts and ideas and try to explain them in recognisable language and with reference to their context. I am also committed to encourage students to building excellent writing and argument building skills - this is something I explore in all my lessons.
