About Lance
I am a Computer Programming tutor with a BSc in Computer Science and over 5 years of experience. I focus on helping high school students prepare for IGCSE and A-Level exams. My teaching approach blends theory, live coding demonstrations, and hands-on exercises. Students develop a strong understanding of Variables, Loops, Data Structures, and Object-Oriented Programming. I emphasise step-by-step explanations to simplify complex coding topics. Past paper practice is a regular part of lessons to build confidence and exam readiness. Lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style and pace. I guide students in debugging, problem-solving, and efficient coding techniques. Creative and logical thinking are encouraged alongside technical skills. Students gain confidence as they tackle increasingly complex coding challenges.
