About Maria
With a background in foreign languages and English, I trained professionally to become an English teacher, graduating from a top university in London. I studied for my PGCE degree in English Language and Literature (Master level in Pedagogy) at UEL, working also on a side in two London state school, teaching English to both natives and non-native speakers.
I have 4 years of teaching experience so far. I have studied pedagogy at a Masters level and gained QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) from my PGCE. This qualification makes me apt for teaching professionally in any mainstream school in the UK or worldwide.
Apart from teaching English in schools, I help students independently with their exam preparation. I have been preparing students for their 11+ and GCSE English Language and Literature.
I am confident that I can help countless students to become better selves and believe in their own forces and abilities, through my patience, perseverance, dedication and hard work.

Qualified English teacher with 4 years experience in British schools, I offer:
English lessons (UK curriculum): I have a wide experience working with students of all levels, abilities and years, from KS1 to GCSE, including exam prep: 11+, GCSE Language and Literature, Functional Skills.
My students ranked my lessons with 100% satisfaction and they have passed all the exams needed with brio.
PLEASE NOTE: £30 per hour for online lessons only. If you wish me to travel at your home, the price will be £40 per hour.
