About Alice
I understand how stressful high school can be, especially studying a demanding STEM subject, after all I was in your shoes not so long ago. Achieving top grades in physics, maths and chemistry at A Level, I have had a lot of experience helping my peers and providing comprehensive explanations to harder topics. In my experience, being taught by someone who is also a student can be very useful, as it provides a fresh perspective on the topic, especially from someone who has studied it before. Currently, I am an undergraduate student studying physics at the University of Edinburgh, on track for a Master of Physics in 2027. While guiding you towards your academic goals, I am very happy to offer advice on university applications, student life and studying a STEM degree!

I aim to create a relaxed learning environment for young persons wanting to get a deeper understanding of mathematics and physics, and prepare for exams including A Level, GCSE and equivalent. Having previously tutored KS3 students, I recognise that everyone has preferred learning styles and areas of weakness, so I always ensure to spend some time identifying these and tailoring the lessons to the student's needs. By sticking closely to specifications of each course, I want to ensure the student's best performance while also getting a real understanding of the subject. The lessons can be flexible in length depending on the student's needs and availability.
