About Zaya
I have 10 years of experience teaching Spanish to learners across a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and goals. I hold a Master’s in Hispanic Studies and Applied Linguistics, giving me deep expertise in language structure, teaching methodologies, and cultural context. This combination allows me to create lessons that are both academically rigorous and highly engaging, tailored to the needs and learning style of each student.
My teaching approach emphasizes patience, individualized attention, and interactive learning. My Spanish lessons are designed to help learners develop comprehensive language skills while gaining an appreciation for Hispanic culture, traditions, and everyday communication. Intermediate learners explore complex grammar, nuanced vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing short essays, and conversational fluency, including culturally relevant content to deepen engagement.
