About Claudia
My name is Claudia. I am a Spanish teacher from Bolivia, I have a bachelor in Linguistics and Languages. I have been teaching Spanish for 7 years. What I love about this job is to transmit and share my language and culture. I moved to the States 2 years ago. I like the idea to travel and meet people around the world, despite the entire Covid crisis. I took some trainings to be a bilingual teacher, as well I have certifications which allow me to teach Spanish one is the BTLPT Spanish certification in Houston, TX and the other is the DELE certification from Cervantes Academy in Spain.
In my hometown I taught Spanish to adults and when I moved to the states I started teaching Spanish to children. I like that variety of ages and I feel that I can change the method and strategy depending on the population.
In my free time I like hiking, exploring new places like museums, restaurants and bars. I love doing karaoke it helps me to improve my pronunciation. Also I love reading and watching videos about astronomy I am fascinated about it.

I like teaching with differents aproaches it depends on the students needs, for example I like explain some rules and have practices about it in different context. I focus mostly in the four skills Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking.
