About Monica
I was born and raised in Los Angeles County in a proud Mexican household, where both culture and language played a central role in shaping who I am. I attended a dual immersion elementary school, where I learned to read and write fluently in both English and Spanish from an early age. Growing up, I was taught that being bilingual is not just a skill, but a valuable asset in both personal and professional settings. Embracing my Mexican heritage has always been important to me, and I incorporate the Spanish language and cultural traditions into my daily life. This deep connection to my roots has inspired my passion for teaching and sharing the beauty of bilingualism with students of all backgrounds.
