About Annabelle
Hi! I’m a history undergraduate at the University of Manchester, and I’m passionate about bringing the past to life. I volunteer at a museum in Manchester and have participated in archaeological digs in Germany and England, which gives me hands-on experience with history outside the classroom. I enjoy sharing this enthusiasm with my students, helping them develop confidence, think critically, and enjoy learning history.

I aim to make history both engaging and accessible for all my students. My teaching focuses on understanding key concepts, developing analytical skills, and applying knowledge effectively to exam questions. I adapt my lessons to each student’s needs, combining structured guidance with interactive discussion, so students can build confidence while improving grades. My lessons typically last one hour, but this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs or exam preparation schedule. I often include a mix of explanations, practice questions, and discussion, ensuring that students not only memorise facts but also understand how to use them in context. I am a history undergraduate at the University of Manchester, currently achieving a first, with strong results in both GCSE and A level history. I have experience helping students prepare for exams, structure essays, and develop critical thinking skills. I teach GCSE and A level students, but I also enjoy working with younger learners who are passionate about history and want to build a strong foundation for future study. Lessons are available online or in person in Manchester, providing flexibility for students with different schedules.
