About William
I'm a 20 year old currently studying at the University of York from the UK but grew up abroad in China. I love basketball and sharing my passion for the game with others. I'm incredibly hopeful to see the number of younger kids in the UK get involved in basketball and would like to do my part to inspire future players.

About the lesson

Techniques: For younger and more beginner level players, I aim to focus on introducing basic basketball concepts, drill down on fundamentals, get kids active and put the fun in basketball.
For older and more advanced players, I will build a player profile, hone in on weaker areas and help take their game to the next level. It will also include learning about game film analysis, team skills and off court intangibles in order to improve against high level competition.
Lesson length: Lessons will typically be at least an hour but players and request longer sessions.
Lesson location: Players can travel to my local court (outdoor) or I can travel to their local court. Indoor court at the University of York or elsewhere can be booked but will be paid for by the player. Web classes are also available.
Ages: Boys and girls aged 8-25 of all skill levels are welcome.
Experience: I've coached two U-13 boys teams and one U-12 girls team. I've played basketball for 10 years, 4 at the varsity level of my high school. I'm currently the captain for the men's 1s at the University of York. I've coached many players of all different skill levels and also have extensive experience working with younger kids.
