About Joe
I struggled with math in high school, but loved it and persevered. Didn't start understanding Algebra until my first semester in college. I had to come up with ways to understand the math and those methods have been very helpful to my students. Before I became a teacher I tutored Arithmetic and Algebra. Most common compliment I received was, "why didn't my regular teacher say it that way?!" I'm not the smartest mathematician and that benefits my students as I do not teach above their heads

I think fundamentals are essential to success in all mathematic courses. Practice, practice, practice. I can try to supplement whatever your classroom teacher is presenting or help with completing homework, that I will leave that up to the individual student.
