About Arvind
I'm currently a high school junior with a 1580 SAT and a 35 ACT. I'm very passionate about math and science, and plan on majoring in physics. I'm very happy to teach any subject in which I am strong. I'm also learning French, and will be taking the AP exam in it next year. Aside from that, I enjoy reading books, playing video games, and playing basketball with my friends.

My teaching method is usually focused on establishing deeper understandings of concept material through making the student come to their own conclusions. I won't be a very conventional teacher who simply explains topics, but I'll essentially provide students scaffolding to figure out their own conclusions. For science, I'll be using pHET simulations to make students take data and derive equations themselves. In math, this translates to helping them start a derivation and providing assistance on problems, but having them finish learning the concept largely under their own skill.
My lessons will be for 4th graders through high school freshmen, and I can cover math till calculus, physics, biology (all at an AP level) and SAT and ACT concepts.
