As a family member, David has informally given me maths support over many years and for a range of topics, which I have found invaluable. He is sure to teach topics from first principles to ensure a thorough foundational understanding of why the maths topic is important and useful; this helps you appreciate why you are learning something and aids with understanding. He is patient, and keen to explain things in detail until you understand, and can go beyond the syllabus basics for more able students.
