Experience
I have had extensive experience in coaching students, athletes and musicians for inter-state level English competitions, the NSW Selective Tests, Year 11 preliminary assignments and HSC exams. My track record is an undisputed testimony to the consistent effectiveness and high quality standard of my teaching.
Therefore, I am confident in supporting all types of individuals and will tailor my lessons according to the niche difficulties that each student may face given the rigorous and demanding nature of high school English. I possess an authentic passion to help all of my students excel in their exam results and school rankings.
In particular, I am well versed with the new HSC English syllabus, allowing me to offer English material from top 20 ranking schools across Sydney with regard to the new rubric. Beyond my lessons, I am able to provide in-depth feedback on extra essays/imaginative and discursive as necessary to ensure that each student is consistently revamping and polishing their work until key benchmarks are met. Most importantly, I always strive to make the lessons engaging, humorous and enjoyable for my students, as their happiness and motivation to learn is my priority.
I also offer an accelerated learning program through practice paper analysis for the arduous Law Admissions Test (LAT). With only a 10% acceptance rate amongst thousands of applicants sitting the LAT, I offer a niche service in preparing students to transition into university law. My lessons will be tutored over ‘Google Meet’ to allow greater flexibility. I also offer in-person lessons in Cabarita, Sydney.

I graduated from Meriden School (Strathfield NSW), acquiring a TOP 3 rank in all my units studied. With respect to my sessions, I offer the following:
️FOR SENIOR STUDENTS (Years 7-12)
I create a dynamic and personal learning environment which compliments my ability to produce a wealth of high-quality information and material for students in high school.
Namely, I tailor lessons according to each student’s progress and developmental requirements, strengthening their basic foundations with the end-goal of producing high quality English literature. Across my years of tutoring, I am extremely proud to announce that 92% of my students have achieved an extraordinary Band 6 result across their English studies during the HSC! 86% of my cohort has also received an incredible ATAR result of ABOVE 90+.
I am currently in possession of a multitude of BAND 6 exemplar essays, annotated prescribed texts and other resources provided by HSC markers and Directors of English + Legal + Business departments to ensure that each student is equipped with the necessary knowledge needed to achieve excellence in their studies. My goal is to not only enhance language proficiency, but to build up the necessary confidence and authentic love for English and literature needed for their academic success beyond high school.
Specialising in areas such as advanced composition and literary evaluation, I ensure that each lesson is an opportunity for students to develop as well-articulated and insightful thinkers. I focus on the neglected, yet dually important details of the syllabus and prioritise exam techniques that are often overlooked by students to ensure that they obtain a competitive advantage and stand out in their cohort. Further, my students will gain an upper hand on their peers from the extensive knowledge I have gained from the prestigious Archdale debating competitions and intervarsity Mooting competitions (legal debating), particularly as public speaking is now a significant aspect of high school English. My lessons are further enriched by my personal knowledge gained from my current university studies as a diligent Commerce and Law student attending UNSW. Consequently, my strong work ethic and comprehensive skill set is instilled in each of my students through a well-rounded and structured lesson, as I watch them progress with pride. I will always strive to achieve the best marks possible for my students and pave the way for them to obtain greater self-confidence and skill in their English endeavours.

Something important that I strive to bring to every lesson is a great sense of humour, patience and kindness, so that students may flourish to their highest potential in an engaging manner.
️FOR JUNIOR YEARS (Years 1 - 6)
I offer tutoring in English, including professional guidance on preparing for the NSW Selective School Test. I specifically develop core skills relevant to foundational grammar, with the end goal of producing cohesive and sophisticated literature in the form of imaginative, analytical, informative and persuasive pieces. My goal is to not only enhance language proficiency and nurture a unique and evocative writing expression, but to build up the necessary confidence and authentic love for English needed for their academic success in senior high school. I break down ideas into digestible and simple explanations to help students understand and retain information.
For younger students, there is a clear demand and necessity to build their writing, reading and comprehension skills. As such, I help students reach a high standard of work in the following ways;
With regard to writing, I aid students in creating an advanced argumentation framework by improving their ability to create sub-arguments + higher order thesis that strengthens their own position on the question. I compliment this strategy with the constant use of literary techniques. By extension, a sophisticated level of grammar, spelling and punctuation is consistently revised under my guidance.
With regard to reading, I help to critically analyse difficult texts, which builds important skills regarding the evaluation of the author’s purpose, perspective and identification of stylistic choices.
With regard to comprehension, I focus specifically on inference and deduction capabilities for students to apply across any variety of text.
