About Siddharth
Hi there! I'm Sid, a first-year MEng Design Engineering student at Imperial College London, and I'd love to help you reach your academic & personal goals, whether that's acing your IB exams, writing a standout personal statement, or getting into your dream university.
I've been through it all recently myself. I scored 43/45 in the IB Diploma Programme, including a 7 in Physics HL, alongside Maths AA HL, Design Technology HL, Economics SL, French B SL and English Language & Literature SL. Before that, I earned 11 A*s at IGCSE and achieved the highest mark in the world in IGCSE Design & Technology. I also scored 1510/1600 on the SAT, so I know both the UK and US admissions routes inside out.
I'm passionate about the intersection of robotics, automotive engineering and sustainable innovation, and I've been designing in Autodesk Fusion 360 and AutoCAD for over 7 years.
I want to teach because I remember how much the right guidance meant to me when I was working towards my own goals, and I'd love to be that support for someone else. Seeing a student finally understand a tricky concept or grow in confidence is incredibly rewarding. Most of all, I believe every student has a unique story and potential, and I want to help them discover it and reach the future they're dreaming of.

My teaching style is friendly, patient and tailored to you.
I start by getting to know how someone learns best, what they're confident in and where they need a boost, then build each session around that. I love breaking down trickier concepts into simple steps and linking them to real-world examples from engineering, design and robotics so they actually make sense and can be retained over the course of multiple sessions.
Questions are always welcome; I firmly believe there's no such thing as a silly one. My goal is for a student to leave each session feeling more confident, motivated and excited to learn.
I am currently a "robotics specialist mentor" to a Grade 10 student in France, working through an admissions consultancy, and guiding them towards engineering and robotics degrees at top universities. Before that, I tutored younger family friends and relatives across a range of STEM subjects, and taught English to young children in India as part of an initiative to support their education.
A typical session lasts 1 - 2 hours. Lessons can range from IB subject preparation and SAT preparation to US and UK application preparation (ages 16-19), with mentoring advice on extracurriculars and writing a personal statement.
