About Shailee
I am a passionate and caring KS2, KS3 and GCSE tutor in English Language, English Literature, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I have three years of experience teaching students in person and online, including several years of 11+ tuition for those preparing for grammar school entrance exams, having gone to one myself. At the GCSE level, I achieved an A* in all my subjects and continued my A-level studies in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Now in medical school, I enjoy teaching students in these compulsory subjects. I feel it is important to have a good understanding in Maths, English and Science as they are the necessary building blocks to succeed in any any profession and vital for learning more specialised fields: whether that be A-levels and university degrees; or apprenticeships in the industry.

I build my lesson plans to focus on the student’s doubts and uncertainties within the subject, and ensure that I explain the topic and common misunderstandings as well as going through practise questions to build their confidence. Alongside going through topics covered in class, I can encourage the student to look beyond the curriculum and gain a deeper understanding for the subject as a whole, which will undoubtedly help them in their future studies.
