About Peter
I am a student athlete, my sport is kayaking I have competed at national and international level and I am studying Genetics at Royal Holloway university of London, my course makes me apply my Alevel chemistry and Biology knowledge to my degree so I remain familiar with the relevant concepts. I also volunteer as a kayak coach at my local canoe club so I have experience working with kids. In the future I hope to go into teaching and therefore I want to get used to teaching chemistry and biology concepts while at Uni.

I believe in a past paper focused approach I teach students exam technique and the methodology and structure behind how to answer questions enabling students to understand as well as memorise. With regards to teaching the content I work with the target exam specification and text book to ensure the content is relevant and concise. I wouldn't move on from a topic until a student has understood it and can apply their knowledge I move sequentially through the topics in the order they appear in the exam specification, however I can also cater to a students specific needs so if they only want help with one topic or need to spend more time on one than another I can make that happen.
