About Porsha
I am a Biomedical Sciences and Psych Major grad from UW. Currently in my last year of PA school at UofT.
I have been tutoring since I was in high school (~ 7 years). I mostly tutor in biology to high school students.
I was a part of the UW study buddy club for International students and instructed in chemistry, microbiology, anatomy and physiology (university level).

My teaching methods are adapted to the learner. I try to make references to something your interested in to help with memory recall. I believe in repetition of concepts to really understand the material and I try to incorporate videos when possible.
I don't think there is one right way to learn. I really focus on helping the student prepare for exams and get what they want out of the course (help get that 50% vs. explain a topic for those more interested in learning). Learning doesn't have to be boring and I try to make it fun.
