About Sean
I completed my mechanical engineering degree at McGill in 4 years with a 3.74 GPA. Through this experience, I came to know a lot about mathematics and physics. I was a teaching assistant in 3 physics classes during the completion of my degree, which also gave me lots of experience in teaching this material to people who are unfamiliar with it. I always put my students first, and I make sure that they understand everything they need to in order to develop a proper understanding of maths and physics. I offer lessons to any student who is struggling with math or physics, no matter their level. Additionally, due to my background in mechanical engineering, I can also help students struggling in any courses required for this program. I also offer lessons to those who are interested in learning Mandarin Chinese. I teach based on each student's needs and goals, meaning that my approach varies based on the individual I am working with. A typical lesson with me starts by reviewing new or difficult material, after which the rest of the lesson is based on solving problems and doing exercises to solidify the newly learnedinformation. I am patient and always make sure that my students feel comfortable with whatever I am teaching them before moving on to a new topic. This approach makes it easy to follow the material, and fun to learn!
