About Chloe
I am a 2nd year biochemistry student at Imperial College London, and have been tutoring as a part-time job for almost a year. I took 12 GCSEs, received A*AAA grades in my A levels (studying biology, chemistry, maths and English literature) and continue to gain experience in biology and chemistry through my degree. As such, I feel confident sharing my knowledge to help students succeed in their academic goals. I find tutoring extremely rewarding, and work hard to create a safe and encouraging environment for my students so they feel empowered to ask questions and get the most out of sessions. Knowing how stressful both GCSE and A level exams can be, I aim to support my students through the daunting process of revision so they can feel confident going into their exams.

I have a flexible approach to lessons and respond to my students' needs, regularly asking for feedback. A typical lesson may include a recall activity, followed by going through new content with some checkpoints along the way to check the student's understanding. If there is time at the end we typically go through past paper questions. Alternatively, we may spend the whole session going through the student's homework or past paper questions if they prefer. My sessions are 1 hour long. I conduct my lessons with patience and encourage the student at every stage. Questions are very much encouraged! I have experience tutoring students at both GCSE and A level (3 students for GCSE, 1 for A level) and have received positive feedback on my lessons.
