About Yazmin
Hi! My name is Yazmin, and I am a 2nd year Chemistry student at Imperial College London, having achieved 4 A*s (Chemistry, Economics, Maths, Further Maths) at A-level as well as 11 A*/9s at GCSE. I am an enthusiastic teacher and am flexible to ensure that the sessions best suit you. We can either follow a plan to cover the syllabus or go over particular problem areas on the day. Either way it will be my priority to help you get the most out of our time.
Having recently been in secondary education, I know the importance of both understanding concepts and exam technique. As I've experienced, exams can be daunting, but with the right preparation you can reach your potential.
I tutor on Zoom using a virtual whiteboard or we can organise in person tutoring sessions if you live in a 2 mile radius from Fulham.

I completed my A-levels in 2021 with 4 A*s, and I understand the difficulty students face when it comes to GCSE and A-level preparation. I would love to guide them through every step to ensure that high grades are met and confidence is reached within that subject. When teaching you I will be actively engaged and encouraging you to try and to look all of the knowledge to relatable things whilst using software that's available to us both. Furthermore, I will help with the content and exam techniques and how to revise in different ways so they can make progress in the subject.
Things as a tutor I will cover include:
- weekly recap to ensure that students are continuously revising and that they understand what they have been taught
- making students explain what they have been taught to the tutor, that way it ensures that they have understood the topic and to clear any misconceptions
-proof read work, pre-mark and help you understand and improve
