About David
I’m a student at UWO, and I’ve been passionate about technology since I was 5 years old. I’ve developed many technical skills throughout the years. I’ve launched several successful startups, built a tremendous amount of software and applications, tutored, and consulted many individuals and small businesses.
Throughout my professional career, I've solidified my technical belt with website design & development, backend server development, database design & management, scalable virtual and Docker infrastructure (both with virtual and physical Cisco & Dell networking, and database replication), scaleable backend servers and microservices, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), and Linux/Unix system administration (specializing in Debian/Ubuntu, and RedHat/CentOS.)
I am well-versed with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and Node.js, PHP, Python, Java and C/C++. Experienced with MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis and SQLite databases. Technologies & frameworks I'm experienced with include (not limited to): Laravel, Express.js, Adonis.js, React.js, ReactPHP/AMPHP, Electron.js, Vue.js, Webextensions, Wordpress, Xenforo, and more!

I prefer a more face to face teaching (or video/audio call) styling, however I’m very flexible and can adapt to your personal learning needs. I can break down concepts in a simple and easy way of understanding, provide various examples and real-world concepts, explaining the technical processes, and real world implications and decisions. From my experience, the best way to learn and develop your technical skills is to build or fix things in order to understand them. I’m more than glad to help guide you through topics and challenges to help you become successful!

Details
These rates are for each session, you're more than welcome to invite any friends, colleagues or classmates at no additional expense. I'm more than happy to travel within 30KM of Brantford, Ontario, for a small travel fee. Although due to the current Covid-19 situation, I would prefer an online session. If you prefer an in-person tutor, I ask that we practice safe social distancing measures and require protective face masks and gloves (or hand sanitizer.)
