About Sunny
Hi, I’m Sunny. I grew up in Hong Kong and I’m now studying Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London. I’ve always loved maths and physics because they explain how the world works — from the tiniest particles to huge machines. I know these subjects can seem tough, but they’re also really rewarding and open up lots of cool opportunities in engineering, technology, and science. I want to help you not just pass your exams, but actually enjoy and understand the topics, so you feel confident about using them in the future. When we work together, I’ll tailor the lessons to suit how you learn best and make sure you build strong foundations. Whether you want to get into a STEM field or just improve your skills, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

As a private tutor, my goal is to help students truly understand the subject, not just memorise formulae or practise exam techniques blindly. Teaching Techniques & Methodology: Focusing on building strong foundations by explaining core concepts clearly before moving on to problem-solving Using diagrams, real-world examples, and step-by-step explanations to make complex ideas easier to understand Encouraging active participation by asking guiding questions and helping students think critically. The first session (30 mins) will be all about getting to know each other and finding out your child’s current level. Each session lasts around 60 minutes. I encourage students to come to each session with some questions prepared. This helps us focus on what you really want to work on and makes the lessons more productive and engaging. I’m also happy to provide support between lessons through messages whenever needed.
