About Misha
Hi! I am a friendly and passionate tutor who is currently studying Medicine at Edge Hill University and I have a strong academic background in Biology, Maths, and Chemistry. I enjoy helping students build confidence in these subjects and I am highly dedicated to creating a supportive environment for them to not only improve their understanding, but to also achieve their full academic potential. Whilst watching their growth, I also encourage students to feel comfortable enough to ask questions and push their limits. Throughout my academic journey, I have learnt that everybody learns differently, so I try my best to understand each individual's needs and learning styles and adapt to them. As someone who has been through the challenges of school and the application process for medical school, I know the importance of having somebody who can guide you and break things down to make learning feel more manageable and even enjoyable, which is what I am here for!

I usually take a practical approach, teaching the student in their preferred way (e.g. visual, using a whiteboard), followed by doing worked examples with them, asking them to apply their knowledge.
Lessons usually last between 1 hour and 1 hour and 30 mins.
I tutored a few students in maths and biology throughout secondary school, as well as a GCSE student in Maths and all Sciences for several months.
I can tutor GCSE students in Maths, Biology and Chemistry, as well as A-Level students in Maths and Biology.
