About Rachel
I have no past teaching experiences but am passionate about mathematics. I would love to pass on all mathematical knowledge that I have and am keen on learning new teaching experiences.
Although I have lack of experience in tutoring, I am confident that I have the skills to help students foster good understanding on concepts and confidently apply them to different types of questions, without having the need to memorise answers. I believe that with hard work and lots of practice, students will be able to obtain high grades in mathematics.
My teaching approach will start with identifying weaker areas, and I will focus on giving past year questions related to those topics. My aim is to nurture students to have a strong foundation on the basics, then move on to more challenging questions. Guidance will be given alongside on how to score full marks for each question, and I will always monitor their progress.
I am happy to provide a free trial session before official tutor lessons start.
