About Martin
I know how intimidating it can be to ask for help because I've been in that position myself. I used to think tutoring wouldn't make a difference, and I worried that I'd be judged for not understanding things as quickly as everyone else. Finding someone who was patient, supportive, and never made me feel embarrassed completely changed the way I learned.
That's the kind of environment I want to create for my students. I want lessons to feel relaxed, encouraging, and judgement-free, where you're comfortable asking as many questions as you need. As a Computer Science student at Durham University, I know that everyone learns differently, and my aim is to help you build confidence, enjoy learning, and reach your goals at your own pace.

I believe the best way to learn is by building confidence and understanding, not just memorising answers. My lessons are tailored to each student's needs and focus on explaining concepts clearly, working through examples together, and practising exam-style questions to reinforce learning.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, but I am happy to adapt the length if needed. I am currently studying Computer Science at Durham University, where I have developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
I primarily teach Mathematics to GCSE and A-Level students. Whether you're looking to improve your grades, prepare for exams, or simply gain confidence in the subject, my aim is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where you can learn at your own pace.
