About Tristan
I am Tristan Crocker, a highly qualified and friendly tutor. I aim to ensure that all my students have a thorough knowledge of every aspect of the subject areas that I tutor. The subjects that I specialise in are Mathematics and Computer Science (Programming). I am currently studying BEng Computer Science, in my 3rd year at The University of Edinburgh. I am maintaining a First Class average so far. My A-Level qualifications include 4 A*s in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics. Furthermore, I came 1st in the school for Further Mathematics and Computer Science. I take pride in being able to explain difficult concepts and topics clearly and succinctly. I understand that these subjects may be difficult to grasp initially and so I am extremely patient and willing to work at each individual student's pace.

Lesson Structure: My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs. For example, this may include running through past papers together whilst providing a thorough explanation of difficult topics; or answering specific questions brought to me by the student. Lesson Technique: My teaching ethos is an inclusive, participatory teaching technique. I like to provide examples to place the material in context and to make the subject easy to understand. Qualifications: 4 A*'s in A-Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics. Currently maintaining a First Class grade in 3rd Year Computer Science at The University of Edinburgh. Duration of lessons: Minimum 1hr
