About Jacob
Hi, I’m Jacob. I’m a dental student and tutor specialising in GCSE and A-level Maths, Biology, and Chemistry.
I achieved A* grades in A-level Maths, Biology, and Chemistry, and I now help students understand difficult topics in a clear, exam-focused way. My tutoring is based around what actually gets marks: past papers, mark schemes, examiner reports, and simple explanations that make hard content feel manageable.
I know how frustrating it can be when school lessons feel confusing or when students understand the topic but still lose marks in exams. My aim is to help students build confidence, improve their exam technique, and know exactly how to approach questions when it matters.

Hi, I’m Jacob. I teach GCSE and A-level students how to actually understand exam content and turn that into marks.
My approach is exam-focused, clear, and practical. I don’t just go through textbook theory — I teach students how examiners want answers written, using past papers, mark schemes, examiner reports, and common question patterns. Lessons usually involve breaking down difficult topics, practising exam-style questions, identifying where marks are lost, and building a clear method students can repeat in the real exam.
I achieved A* grades in A-level Maths, Biology, and Chemistry, and I have experience tutoring students through GCSE and A-level content. I also have a strong understanding of how to simplify difficult concepts and explain them in a way that makes sense to students.
My lessons are mainly for GCSE and A-level students, particularly those studying Maths, Biology, or Chemistry, whether they are aiming to improve confidence, move up grades, or push for top marks.
