About Sai Khushi
I am Sai Khushi, a 3rd Year Industrial Design student attending Arizona State University in Tempe , AZ. But, I am back in the Bay for summer now!
I am originally from the Bay Area, and I have been tutoring for about 3.5 years, as well as having volunteered for other organizations involved in online tutoring during the pandemic.
I originally started my tutoring journey around 2020 with a local non-profit organization, StudentsNextDoor, having tutored elementary students on basic concepts such as addition/subtraction as well as algebra. I have actually also taught middle school to high school students in subjects such as Algebra 1 , Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus !
Between February and May of 2023, I took a part time position as a teaching assistant for 4th grade level mathematics at a local center , MathAhead. I helped students practice geometric concepts, simple algebra, and did weekly practice exams for state-wide diagnostic exams and upcoming class exams .
So, I really love getting to personally interact with students and help get to understand what they are good with and what they need help with . In a way, it allows me to build better connections with students while also helping them prepare and excel in school!

As a tutor with around 3 years of experience , I make it my mission to be able to break down and simplify concepts for students.
The way my tutoring agenda would go :
- Start off with consulting the student on class curriculum
- Addressing student's questions on homework
- Before test dates, practice on what questions they need help
I have catered towards elementary students, as well as middle to high school students in different levels of math from basic addition / subtraction to Algebra 1 and Trigonometry, as well as Pre-Calculus .
I am very excited to be able to work with students and help them excel!
