About Ben
I’ve achieved all grade 9s in my GCSEs and two A*s and an A in my A Levels. I currently study maths at the University of Bath, where I am in my second year of a master's degree. In secondary school, I attended extra maths problem-solving lessons and competed in the UKMT maths challenges. In terms of experience, during secondary school, I tutored younger students who needed to receive extra support with maths. I’ve also been a peer mentor to other students in school, helping with their homework and problems.

I believe maths is a subject everyone can become fluent at, and with the right support all students can achieve a high grade. My teaching style involves understanding content deeply then applying this to the problems that need to be solved. Through deep understanding, students are able to apply their knowledge better, which gives them the best possible chance of being successful.

Perfect! Ben has been tutoring my 6 & 9 year old during the holidays. They have learnt a lot and he has a lot of patience and great teaching methods. I can highly recommend Ben to anyone looking for help with Maths.
