About Madeha
Hi I’m Madeha and I’m a 3rd year medical student with a passion for teaching.
I specialise in tutoring A-level Chemistry and GCSE Biology and Chemistry, following the AQA exam board for all subjects. Since Year 12, I have tutored both peers and younger students, offering personalised guidance tailored specifically to each student’s needs. My experience ranges from working with students my age to those younger, helping them excel academically through a methodical, supportive, and patient approach.
I provide a nurturing learning environment, where students are encouraged to ask questions and never feel embarrassed about their struggles. I understand that everyone learns differently, and I take the time to assess each student’s strengths and areas for improvement. My process starts with an initial assessment to identify any knowledge gaps, followed by a discussion with the student about their current study habits and revision techniques. From there, I work with students to go through exam questions, focusing on strengthening their foundations. I also prioritise exam technique, helping students understand how to approach and break down questions effectively.
Once the basics are covered, I encourage students to work independently through exam-style questions, building their confidence and deepening their understanding. Afterwards, we review the work collaboratively, ensuring that any remaining gaps are filled. I assign homework at the end of each session to reinforce learning, and if necessary, I set tests to assess progress.
In addition to teaching subject content, I provide valuable advice on exam techniques and strategies that can boost performance. I’m always open to communication, regularly updating both students and parents upon request to ensure a transparent tutoring experience. My aim is not just to help students pass their exams but to push them to achieve their full potential, equipping them with the tools and confidence to succeed academically and beyond.
I am dedicated to fostering an encouraging and supportive environment, always going the extra mile to ensure each student has the resources and guidance they need. Whether it’s helping students feel more confident in their subjects or preparing them for exams, I am committed to seeing each student thrive with the support and guidance I provide.
