About Youlin
3rd year theoretical physics student at the University of Manchester, High first class honours ( > 80% average grade) in the first 2 years. Achieved A*s in Physics, Further maths, and maths at A-level. I love how mathematics describes our universe in a way that is abstract but yet, beautiful. I chose to study theoretical physics at university to understand how the universe really works and how to describe physical phenomena using maths.

I love how maths can be used to describe our universe and I've always wanted to be able to use maths to explain physical phenomena myself and conduct experiments to investigate these physical phenomena, thus, I chose to study physics at university. Having achieved A* grades in maths, further maths and physics at A-Levels, and grade 8/9 at GCSE, I know what students struggle with the most and want to help them achieve their maximum potential. Learning subjects like maths and physics requires explanations from a different perspective to help students see the bigger picture, and gain valuable problem-solving skills along the way. I help my tutees to learn maths and physics in the way I did when I was doing them. Providing useful insights, methods and techniques in solving problems. The best way to get better at solving maths and physics problems is to understand the concepts, then practice, practice, and practice!!
