I knew Summer for a few years until it got to my exams and she tutored me for six months in the lead up to them. She gave me confidence in maths that I never thought I could have. She did this by being endlessly patient with me, managing to explain the same concept in numerous different ways, adapting her teaching methods to fit me and my ways of understanding . In six months she raised my maths grade by 2, something no maths teacher I’ve ever had has been able to do, even over the three year maths course I was taking. She’s passionate about helping people and genuinely is a lovely person, always willing to help any student she tutors with any aspect of the course, communicating ideas clearly and effectively. Her help went beyond our sessions as well, she would send me youtube videos, links to revision websites and anything else she thought could help me, fully investing herself in my success. Any person who has Summer as a tutor is incredibly lucky and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
