About Gabriela
Education is a passion I had for a long time and I make sure to show this through my teaching: I am committed to creating a safe environment for learning, in which students can ask questions, make mistakes and learn from them. As I have been tutoring Chemistry for over 4 years, my teaching is very flexible and accommodating of the student's needs. Usually, each session has two parts:
-in the first part, I answer the questions the student has from the last session, we solve the problems from the homework that were difficult etc.
- in the second part, I present a new topic. This can be done either via a PowerPoint presentation or by using a whiteboard - this depends on the topic and on the student's preferences.
Both these parts are quite interactive and the exact length is hard to predict, but I try to keep all sessions under 1h30mins, as otherwise it becomes tiring for the student. I always follow the syllabus, but the pace is set by the student.
