About Ivy
My name is Ivy Mabunda, I am a 4th year student at the University of Pretoria. I am studying for the Bachelor of Education in Senior Phase and FET, my majors are English, Natural Sciences, and Geography.
I am interested in teaching because I enjoy helping others understand and grow. I also believe education plays a key role in shaping futures, and I want to be part of making a positive difference in learners' or students' lives.

My teaching style is patient, supportive and learner-centred. I love to focus on building confidence, improving academic achievement, and teaching learners on developing a strong study and exam skills.
When it comes to English I understand that most students find it difficult to pronounce words, therefore I ensure that students feel comfortable in asking questions and actively participating.
My goal is not only to to improve marks, but to help students become independent and motivated thinkers.
