About Stephanie
Hi, I'm Stephanie! I am currently studying Medicine and am intercalating in Global Health BSc at Imperial College London this year.
I have always had a passion for science and maths. This combined with my friendly nature and my interest in being able to help others, naturally drew me to the Medical field.
Applying to Medical school was not easy! I had to juggle UCAS applications, 2 medical school entrance exams and multiple interviews for medical school, all while revising and studying for my A-Levels. Through the use of good revision techniques and good organisation I was able to be successful in my A-Levels as well as my medical applications. As a tutor I would be eager to share my tips of how I was able to do this, to allow students to work as efficiently as possible.
In addition to this, my role as Biology Ambassador in Sixth Form meant I would regularly tutor students who needed extra help at clinics. I believe the skills I developed during this previous experience would be advantageous as a tutor across other subjects as well.

I structure my lessons around you. For example, we would start with questions and some further help on your chosen topic. I like to use a lot of diagrams and mnemonics to make learning easier to remember. We would then move on to some questions to check your understanding.
Throughout the first couple of lessons we would also spend some time discussing revision methods which were useful to me, to help you develop a revision strategy which works best for you.
