About Tarun
I recognise that the interview and personal statements are areas that applicants struggle with. Furthermore, communication is a fundamental aspect of medicine when working as a doctor, and it's one that I personally struggled with when I applied. However, I have worked to overcome these difficulties and I would like to pass on my knowledge to others. I have acquired lots of tips and tricks from my interviews. Additionally, in order to better myself, I have gained more experience in teaching within medical school and this has massively improved my confidence.

Personal statement: Detailed feedback and helpful tips for improving applications. Sound advice on how to tailor the application to specific universities. Interview practice: 1-to-1 interview practice going through questions that embody each station, with verbal feedback provided. 1-2 hour sessions going through and perfecting an effective strategy for tackling each station - eventually moving onto timed practice (e.g. 10 mins per station) General tips and advice for approaching the interview. Have had 3 interview offers for medical school in the past. Sessions tailored for prospective applicants in Year 12-13. Have helped 3 former applicants gain places at Imperial, Nottingham and Birmingham Universities.

Tarun is a brilliant tutor. He was very quickly able to switch to and from being an interviewer and teacher, something I found very useful when going over example interview questions. He was highly encouraging and supportive throughout my time learning from him, and I have personally seen my conversational fluency and ability to tackle difficult questions improve significantly after practicing with him.
