I am a 27 year-old guy in my 5th year of a PhD in Chemistry from the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam, Netherlands. Before this, I got a 1st class Master's degree from the University of York, UK, with a Year in Industry. I am currently based in the Warrington area, and am originally from Wigan.

I prefer to focus on the weaker topic areas of the student - ideally going through and discussing problems which they have gotten wrong in tests or assessments. Particular focus is paid to examination content which is most likely to pop up in final exams, giving the student the best chance of attaining a high grade.
As a 5th year PhD student in Chemistry, have taught 11BSc/MSc university students, as well as tutoring on the side, so am familiar with different learning styles and how best to teach a range of people.
Whilst remaining professional, I prefer to create a more relaxed learning environment, which is not too strict and serious, to help the student to relax and increase their chance of absorbing the material.
Preferably, I offer 2-hour lessons, and am willing to drive to the student's house for the lesson to take place. In this case, I would ask for the fuel costs to be covered. To put guardians' worries at rest, I am also recently enhanced DBS-certified.
