About Liam
I am, to my friends annoyance, very passionate about the subjects I study. I quite regularly talk about the topics I study, as I believe they are genuinely interesting. However, I am no natural. I have spent lots of time stressing, and wrapping my head around the complicated ideas within my degree and these subjects at school. I sympathies with those who struggle, as I have been there. I believing struggling and then succeeding is what sows the seeds for even greater success in life.

I take on an individualist approach to teaching. I believe every student has a particular way of learning. With regards to exams, I am confident in my ability to teach a student how to pass well, however I like to focus my lesson on what the student finds exciting about the subject. This works well to encourage the student to actively engage in the subject outside tutoring and school.
I truly believe there is no such thing as someone who is just bad at maths, physics or the like. I feel their way of handling the problems and subject is just different than the methods used by schools. The beauty of tutoring is that it can really open the eyes of students, and make them realise there is more to subjects than a memory tests, and this can be hugely satisfying for them, their parents, and for myself.
